The men and women who run our companies deserve great respect. Leadership often isn’t recognized. Employees can’t see the difficulties their leaders are confronted with, especially in larger organizations, where they can’t easily change the system to the benefit of their teams. Like all people, leaders want to contribute to the organization and enjoy in what they do, which isn’t in practice always easy to reach. We support managers and employees to be happy, healthy and successful in working together.
In change and leadership there is a lot of ‘thin air’. Although we have intensely studied our field, we are both very hands-on and practical. You will rarely hear us speaking in jargon. We explain our approach in a very understandable language to everyone.
In projects we work closely together with our clients. They concentrate on ‘what’ they want to achieve, and we on ‘how’ to achieve it. We have a fixed approach or blueprints. With the knowledge of how organizations work as a system, we work with proven concepts, based on the specifics of the situation and the people involved, offering alternative solutions. We are realists in change and achieve results.
In masterclasses and postgraduate education programs we pass on our knowledge and experience.

The building blocks for my performance are my education in Business Administration, Social Sciences and Change Management. Since I strive for ‘mastery’ I have invested for over 25 years developing my professional knowledge and skills worldwide. In this way I have achieved a very interesting and broad ‘body of knowledge’, which helps me to distinguish valuable theories from hypes.
Successful organizational change is a combination of hardness and softness, renewing and reconnecting

Firstly I worked as a consultant at KPN, then with one of the largest consultancy firms in The Netherlands. Now I am self-employed and owner of Change Company since 1999. I have also worked as a volunteer with disadvantaged people, including drugs addicts, young unemployed and lonely elderly people. All these experiences combined have formed me into a realist in change.

Every year I travel abroad for at least 1 to 2 months for study or work. Our job at the top of Ford Motor Company in Detroit has been one of the most exciting experiences. Meeting with leaders, scientists and colleagues all over the world has enriched my life and work. I have had the honour to learn from great masters like Peter Block and Edgar Schein. At this moment I am a mentor for some young talented women.
